The newsmagazine business, heavily overrun in the digital age, is claiming another casualty. U.S. News and World Report is moving digital and shifting to a monthly in print, following last week's Christian Science Monitor decision to move to a weekly in print and go more aggressively into digital.
U.S. News and World Report was hit hardest of all the titles in the shift to digital platforms. While its Internet operations have always been sound, its print edition suffered more significantly.
