It'll be worth keeping tabs this week on the Slate experiment to have two people only consume a newspaper and two only consume online media. The latter group has to avoid consuming newspapers (or their facsimiles) online.
Then they'll be tested on their understanding or lack thereof of issues as the week progresses. They'll participate in online discussions of the issues, so their knowledge and its deficiencies ought to be obvious.
