WPP, the largest advertising firm in the world, is predicting an ad recovery (of sorts) next year. Indeed, says WPP chief Sir Martin Sorrell, there will be some renewal (a "relative improvement") in the second half of this year.
WPP owns Ogilvy & Mather Worldwide and the Hill & Knowlton public relations firm. It predicts an ad decline of four per cent this year, down from two-per-cent growth last year.
