The data suggest 70.3 million unique visitors for newspaper sites. There are no comparisons with previous months because Nielsen has changed the methodology.
Page views totaled 3.5 billion in the month, while the time spent averaged 38 minutes and 24 seconds a month --- the latter not particularly high. In fact, as the Nieman Journalism Lab's Martin Langeveld points out tonight, that accounts for less than one per cent of page views and time spent.
