News Corp. is making its intention clear to move into the pay-for-content realm in the near-future. Digital chief Jonathan Miller says the company is working on several business models it believes will be applicable to the industry.
Without tipping his hand on plans, Miller told a conference this week that bundles might be the best route --- packaging various assets and charging for access.
He thinks there is an "app economy" emerging, too. Another report suggests the News Corp.'s Sunday Times in London will be pursuing a pay model shortly.
