The ever-developing nytimes.com crew has unfurled what it calls, for want of a better name, the "article skimmer."
It's a scrolling set of boxes organized around the newspaper and Web site's content categories, permitting you to scan up to 15 story headlines and lede paragraphs and click through to the content.
There are a couple of shortcuts inside it, but the experience is quite nice.
