Martin Langeveld delivered this week the news about the analysis on online versus print readership of newspaper content (print 96.5 per cent of all newspaper reading, a bit of a shocker).

1. Don't charge for content.
2. Understand social media.
3. Blow up the organization.
4. Rework your process of creation and production.
5. Outsource whatever is irrelevant.
