Emily Bell, the digital chief of the Guardian, is the latest to weigh in with dire predictions for western media. Some will die, some will just have a gloriously awful time, no one has figured a good way along.
Bell told a digital leadership conference that as many as five British national papers could disappear, the regional press hit the skids and no commercial U.K. broadcaster in existence outside of the BBC.
A long period of unprofitable existence is in store.
Have a good weekend.
