The annual World Association of Newspapers meeting is an opportunity to gauge large trends and assess the pulse of the industry. Its release today of the World Digital Media Trends report indicates a more rapid ascension of new over old.
Having said that, the association heard that it's necessary to keep a focus on the newspaper, because even with this growth it will be important to leverage the economic heft of the print medium.
