It suggests avoiding anything that identifies political preferences, even in their personal use. Largely the document is about exercising common sense, recognizing that everything is public, and discouraging anything that might bring BBC into disrepute.
A separate Twitter guideline was published. An element of the guideline is the requirement for a second set of eyes on Tweets.
